Okay, this probably won't make sense to anyone but me. Basically, the next book in the Drizzt series takes place one hundred years ahead in the Forgotten Realms timeline. I read the first chapter (which was posted as a preview online) and was less than impressed. Apparently, technology has progressed not a whit in a century, which is stupid, because they've got that Silverymoon free-learning thing going on and all this magic shit and really, they should have figured some stuff out by now, you know? I want cellphones and guns, man! Well, I don't really want cellphones and guns, but if you're gonna do a hundred-year leap, then it should have some point to it, you know?
And thusly, we have our dear Drizzt... wearing sunglasses at night.
There should really be a page before this one (where he gets a call on his cell phone) and a page after it (where he kicks some ass) but it took me like two weeks to get motivated enough to finish the sixth panel. So, no more for you. Je suis desolee.
Incidentally, the sixth panel was created with great help from this stock piece [link] by *WolfcatStock.
CRITIQUE DISCOURAGED because the markerwork is sloppy as hell.
